Alexis Chambers
Club Director
Alexis started her collegiate athletics career playing volleyball for the Blue Storm at Southwestern Illinois College. She transferred to Greenville University where she was a three-sport athlete for the Panthers playing volleyball, basketball and track & field. Since graduating from GU, she has coached at both the collegiate and high school level aside from her role as club director at Metro East Vortex.
Derrick Crogier
Director of Operations
Derrick brings more than a decades worth of experience in coaching and directing youth sports to Metro East Vortex. Prior to co-founding Vortex, Derrick was a founder and director of another local club within the Gateway Region. In addition to this, Derrick also brings several years experience directing skill and athletic development camps throughout the area.
